I have had a multitude of responsibilities while working in film production. Below are the films I have worked on throughout my career and the responsibilities I was tasked with on each set.
"From Our Coven"
2017- Production Assistant/Sound
Below is a poster for an independent film I made with my brother Justin Patricolo in the winter of 2017. I am noted on IMBD for this film as a production assistant, but I also helped my brother with other elements of the production, such as holding the boom stick and acting as the sound operater. The film is about a pair of witches who abandon their Coven of witches and is hunted down. Below is the full film if you wish to watch it, it has a run time of about fifteen minutes.
"Hot Pink"
2019- 2nd Assistant Camera
This is a short film that I made with my brother, Justin Patricolo. I am noted for it on IMBD as a 2nd Assistant Camera because that was my role on set, but I also helped my brother finalize the script. We made this film in the summer of 2019. It has the highest budget of any film I've worked on so far, $10,000.00. This film is about a father and daughter who brake into a man's apartment to steal something of great value, but things don't go as planned. This film was nominated as an official selection for a multitude of film festivals.
"Very Temporary"
2022- Production Assistant/Assistant Cameraman
"Very Temporary" is the first film I was able to participate in the production of since the COVID-19 pandemic began. It was a different process with everyone having to follow the proper protocols and be extra cautious to insure no one on set got sick. However, it was still a pleasure to work on this short film. As a Production Assistant, my roles included setting up the set, striking the set, as well as providing the cast and crew with whatever they needed when they needed it.
"The Society for Paranormal Healing"
2022- Production Assistant/Assistant Cameraman
"The Society for Paranormal Healing" is a film I worked on in the first half of 2022. This film was directed by Lori Chandler and it was her first short film. My roles on the set were the Production Assistant as well as Assistant Cameraman. As a Production Assistant, it was my job to get anything the cast or crew needed as well as help set up and strike the set for each scene. As an Assistant Cameraman, I assisted the lead cinematographer and director of the film with whatever they needed including providing the cinematographer with the appropriate camera lenses and helping keep the camera steady during shots.
"Dig Deeper"
2022- Lead Production Assistant/Assistant Cameraman
"Dig Deeper" is a short film I worked on as Lead Production Assistant and Assistant Cameraman in October of 2022, directed by Girault Seeager. This was the first larger-budget film project I have worked on. My duties consisted of helping out the AD and DP with whatever they required, which ranged from a variety of different responsibilities such as switching out lenses, slating the camera, keeping track of the shot list, making equipment runs from the equipment room to the set, organizing talent and crew upon their arrival, ensuring COVID protocols were followed directing the other PAs around set and helping them fulfill their duties, and driving talent and crew to and from different shooting locations.
"Deadcoats"
2023- 1st Assistant Camera
On May 6th and May 7th, I participated in the production of a short film titled "Deadcoats," written and directed by Sam Robotham, as the 1st Assistant Camera. My duties included setting up the camera, changing out lenses, diffusing light, monitoring and transporting production equipment, slating the camera, shooting set up and design, and camera operation. I reported directly to the Director of Photography.
